We visited for my daughter's Birthday,the staff prepared a beautiful table with decorations & Birthday banners, had a great meal, staff & food are amazing. The Bengal Spice is our local resturant and it has been there as long as I can remember & has changed for the better over the years!Great local place & great food!.

Eating at this restaurant was really a wonderful experience all round. There's a nice atmosphere, the owner Ali was really friendly and helpful and you could absolutely tell how passionate he is about his food, and boy could you taste it as well. I'm a big fan of curry, I've tried a lot of restaurants, I've been to India and I honestly can't think of a single curry I've enjoyed more than at this place. It might not be the cheapest but it's absolutely worth every penny and I'll definitely be eating here again

This is honestly the best curry I've tasted outside of India. Each dish is so different, with fresh ingredients and incredible flavours. I consider myself very lucky to live just around the corner, so have eaten here 10+ times now, and am yet to be disappointed.

Ali is doing the same great cooking here that he did at Spices on Chapel Market before he moved. Every dish delivers just a little bit more than the equivalent elsewhere and you will never be let down if you let Ali choose something for you based on your usual dish. This isn't just a "local favourite" restaurant - I crossed London from Putney to eat there last night and will do so again.

Seriously some of the best curry in London. New owner Ali is super friendly and is great at recommending dishes based on what you like and how spicy you want. I highly recommend everything they serve. It's one of our favourite restaurants!

If you ever visited Ali's old restaurant (Spices in Islington's Chapel Market) you will know what to expect. The food is some the best Indian food you will find in London - and if you don't like a particular dish Ali will adjust it to suit you. Nothing is ever too much trouble....

My friends and I were regular customers at Spice on Chapel Market so were very sad to see the place move, however after visiting the new location on Holloway Road we were extremely happy to see that the place had kept its charm and quality intact - if not even better (if possible)! The host made our dining experience unique and highly enjoyable, and introduced our American friend to Indian cuisine in the best possible way! We'll be back again very soon! Definitely visit this gem of a restaurant if you have chance!
